Great stay at Casa Lola Amazing customer service, beautiful decor, delicious food, rooftop was perfect for a hot day! Location was ideal, with access to basically everything you’d need in Cartagena. I would definitely recommend Casa Lola to someone looking for a luxury experience in Cartagena!

Super Sexy, Comfortable and Welcoming Boutique Hotel in Getsemaní, Cartagena. My husband and I just spent 4 nights at Casa Lola and we loved every aspect of the place. First of all, the hotel and restaurant are designed, decorated and landscaped magnificently. A fantastic balance of architecture, art, foliage and water. The art & antiquities collection is epic, but the warmth and comfort of the entire hotel is what makes it special. This, in large part is due to the friendly, gentle and professional staff. The Restaurant, Dona Lola and roof top bar match the hotel’s general vibe. Gracious, beautiful and sexy. We really enjoyed meeting and taking with Annalise. We wouldn’t even consider staying elsewhere. The Getsemaní location is perfect.

Pure elegance with luxury service! A must stay in Cartagena in the best area! Once we arrived the attention to service and detail was impeccable! I requested a bottle of champagne and it was elegantly placed in our room! The entire staff was welcoming and accommodating! The elegance is nonetheless remarkable! Love

Excelente opcion en Cartagena, pero... La estancia es espectacular siempre, su atencion, sus instalaciones su limpieza y la comodidad de sus instalaciones sumada a la magia propia de la ciudad hacen que Casa Lola siempre sea mi opcion en mis viajes de placer o de negocios. Punto para mejorar: Se tardan muchisimo en servir el desayuno.

Hotel Casa Lola en Cartagena Indias, recomendable pero ruidoso… El Hotel es fantástico, muy bien decorado, un reducto de buen gusto ideal para parejas. Sin embargo hay un par de puntos a tener en cuenta. Primero Casa Lola está situado en el corazón de Chapinero y es una zona terriblemente ruidosa y excesivamente turística. Vamos una pesadilla para para el viajero que busca paz. El segundo punto a tener en cuenta es donde esté situada la habitación dentro del hotel. La mayoría de las habitaciones son interiores pero están expuestas a los patios interiores donde se encuentra el restaurante. Esto es especialmente problemático si se elige una habitación de la planta baja pues no solo hay ruido de los comensales sino el trasiego de los camareros. Por lo demás un hotel recomendable.

Bel endroit calme Si vous souhaitez profitez du centre de Carthagene et être immergé dans la ville, c est le bon endroit. La décoration est très raffinée, le restaurant est très beau et l espace piscine est très agréable. Je vous recommande vivement l endroit.

Casa Lola is a design event! Wild little place! Every inch feels like an epic design exploration. So many intimate spaces and great little vibey vignettes. We appreciated the uniqueness and style. Our room was the Lola Flores. The suite. Incredible! And indescribable! King bed in the center of the floor. A second floor up a winding staircase. Large windows to the street behind 14’ doors. Hundreds of eclectic decorations. Never a moment in the room that didn’t feel special. You have to see it to believe it. While touted as a 5 star stay, it is not. Cool in its own right, but don’t expect service in the way you would a luxury stay. Also, the water goes out, it’s tough to describe issues in the rooms adequately and my laundry, sent out for cleaning, was partially stolen or went missing…. In the instance of the missing laundry, we’ll, it was made to be my fault. The staff even suggested twice that they come and search my room for the missing items. Wish it were so easy. We sent out about 30 Items for cleaning and 12% of said items went missing. Never received even a feigned apology. Sigh. Try the restaurant. Make a reservation so you can sit in the air conditioned space. They don’t make accommodations for hotel guests without reservations, nor do they help you plan your requests at check-in. Check out takes about 20 minutes so plan for that.

Steam Punk Colonial Immersion with a Hidden Gem Rooftop in the Heart of Getsemani Hotel Casa Lola was the perfect place to kick off our extended honeymoon getaway in Cartagena. A cross between old steam punk, colonial, and Eastern decor with beautiful water streams throughout the incredible labyrinth of the hotel - there was so much to look at and take in at every corner! We thoroughly enjoyed our daily delicious breakfast full of amazing/unique local fruit (+ more), top notch coffee (according to my coffee connoisseur husband) and friendly service - all included with the room, which is the best if you are a budget conscious traveler like myself. 🙂 The split level rooms with the bed up on the second floor and mirrors all over also made for a one-of-a-kind experience. A major highlight was the rooftop deck with the most incredible views of the city and interesting nooks and crannies galore - it was so quiet up there whenever we made our way on the roof, and we always wondered why more guests/people weren't around enjoying lounging in this hidden gem of a spot! Staying in the heart of Getsemani (a block or so away from the famous Cafe Havana, where we enjoyed a night out of live music and salsa dancing) was such a treat, and the staff were extremely helpful with coordinating drivers from the airport and down to our self-coordinated trip to the Aviary one morning. And of course the neighborhood is a full cultural/art immersion experience - the colors and energy of the nights are one-of-a-kind!
